FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Temperatures in Flagstaff will drop significantly this weekend, with overnight lows expected to reach the mid-40s starting tonight. Daytime high temperatures on Saturday will remain pleasant, reaching a high of 86 degrees, providing warm, sunny weather perfect for outdoor activities. However, those planning to be outside in the evening should prepare for cooler nights.

According to the National Weather Service, tonight's low temperature will drop to 49 degrees with clear skies. Sunday will see more sunshine with highs reaching 83 degrees, but the cold will return overnight with lows near 48 degrees. Winds could gust up to 20 miles per hour Sunday afternoon, making it even cooler. People driving Route 66 and other highways near Flagstaff should be aware of changing temperatures, especially if traveling after dark.

Looking ahead, Monday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 81 degrees, but the night will be much colder with temperatures around 45 degrees. By mid-week, Flagstaff can expect similar pleasant weather with sunny skies and calm winds. Overnight lows will continue to hover around 40 degrees throughout this week.
