After Sunday’s loss at Arizona State University and his team’s sixth straight loss in Pac-12 play, Arizona coach Chip Hale asked what it took to get the Wildcats out of their funk. asked.

Tuesday’s game against the Grand Canyon at High Corbett Field was the definition of a Find Your Way to Victory game.

Corona, a transfer from Pima Community College, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and hit his first UA home run. Davis also went 2-for-4 and he had 3 RBIs. Both of his hits left the buildingHe has hit three homers in his last two games and has a team-leading 10 this season.
Shortstop Nick McCrory also hit a home run, hitting three runs in the seventh inning to give Arizona an 8–6 lead. The Wildcats were 5-2 going into the seventh before giving up four runs.
Lopez (15-9) had another crooked number in the eighth, scoring three runs to make it 9-8. RBI double by Mac BinghamScoring Kiko Romero tied the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. Corona drove Tyler Casagrande home and led off with a double in the bottom of the 10th.
After three runners who inherited in the top of the eighth allowed a run, Trevor Long stayed out of trouble and took the win. He did not charge an earned run in a season-high three innings.
Arizona (14-9, 3-6 Pac-12) will begin a three-game series against Oregon (15-7, 3-3) at High Corbetts on Friday night. The Wildcats are on his 10th straight win at home.
Japan won the World Baseball Classic Tuesday with a 3-2 win over the United States.
