Arizona House of Representatives votes to expel Republican lawmakers
The Arizona House of Representatives voted this week to oust Republican Rep.
A resolution to oust Harris was approved by a vote of 46 to 13, and state Republicans retained a one-seat majority until a new Republican was elected in her place.
Governor Hobbes marks her first 100 days.
This week, Governor Katie Hobbs reflected on her first 100 days in office.
During that time, she issued executive orders on the state’s prison system, passed and rejected bills, and went to the state’s southern border three times.
Suns start playoff run on Sunday
The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers will meet in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, with Game 1 taking place on Sunday.
This playoff berth puts new pressure on volleyball fans accustomed to being one step away from the championship.
The team and many in the state want the team to win the title. Not only for the team, but also for legendary announcer Al McCoy, who is retiring after 51 years with the team.
