Tonalea Branch Keshiji and Bazaar January 10th
On January 10th, a bazaar will be held at the Tonalea Branch House from 5pm to 8pm. To display your products, pay $10.60 if you bring your own table and chairs or $15.90 if you rent from a branch. Starting at 6 p.m., there will be Navajo shoe games and singing hosted by Thomas Yellowhair.
Best Friends Animal Clinic
Look out for Tuba City and Kayenta. Best Friends Vaccine & Spay/Neuter Mobile Clinic is coming to you. A $15 appointment is required for spay/neuter surgery, which includes vaccines and microchip. Vaccine clinics will operate on a first-come, first-served basis during specific hours. In Tuba City, the clinic will take place on January 11th and 12th. NACA Honor Your Heart class
Native Americans for Community Action is hosting a six-week online class led by a registered dietitian that focuses on practical life-enhancing tools to get closer to heart health and live a balanced life. NACA Living well with diabetes
Native Americans for Community Action is offering a free seven-week diabetes self-management class on Zoom for people with diabetes and their families. Certified educators will teach you about healthy eating, physical activity, medication management, and risk reduction. Take control of your health and improve your quality of life. The Native American Disability Law Center will be conducting free benefit examinations. Find out if you are eligible for benefits (Medicaid, Medicare, Prescription Part D, LIHEAP, SNAP) and other benefits.
