Super Sunday Tailgate Party at Mazzatzal Casino
The Mazazzal Hotel & Casino will host a special “Super Sunday” Super Bowl LVII tailgate party on Sunday, February 12 at 3:30 PM at the Apache Spirits Sports Bar/Grille. Enjoy the biggest games on Payson’s biggest screens.
Admission is $20 per person, and seating is limited. Guests will enjoy an amazing all-you-can-eat “Super Sunday” Tailgate His Buffet, including BBQ His Ribs, Chicken Wings, Pizza and more, along with Super Sunday drink specials and giveaways.
The Super Sunday Tailgate Party will begin at 3:30 PM and the Tailgate Buffet will conclude at the start of the fourth quarter of the game.

glass wind chime workshop
The Art Alliance of the White Mountains, 251 Penrod Rd., Show Low will host a glass wind chime workshop on Saturday, February 18 from 11am to 3pm. Instructor Peggy Donathan demonstrates cutting and polishing pieces of glass and drilling holes in glass. All materials and tools used in class are provided. The cost is he $38 per person. new season of jazz concerts
A new season of jazz performances begins in February.
The first will be on Sunday, February 19th at 2pm at the Payson Community Presbyterian Church at 800 West Main Street with Ken Hales and Payson Jazz.
The community’s only jazz ensemble, Payson Jazz, performs popular classics and standards from the 1920s to the 1960s. Joining Payson Jazz will be guest performer Ken Hales, a master flugelhorn player.
It’s free to play, but you can donate any amount to the Community Presbyterian Jazz Fund.
Enjoy songs like St. Louis Blues, A Fine Romance, Jersey Bounce, The Sheik Of Araby, In The Still Of The Night, Cherokee, Basin Street Blues, big band era swing tunes and more.
Payson Jazz rehearses weekly and the members are: Greg Larkins, piano. Mike Buskirk on bass. Dahlia Mason, sax, flute, vocals. Bruce Taylor, sax. Hawkeye Matthews, sax. Larry Braisen, trumpet. Joan Smith on guitar, Jerry Reynolds on drums.
