The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had confirmed the identities of the bodies of six slain hostages rescued from the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
In a social media post, the Israel Defense Forces identified Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg Pollin as one of those killed by Hamas.
The bodies of Carmel Gatto, Eden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Porin, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarsi, and Sergeant Oli Danino were discovered and removed yesterday.

Goldberg Pollin, 23, was taken hostage by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, while attending the Nova music festival, The New York Times reported. ReportedHe lost part of his left arm during the attack at the festival and was last seen in a Hamas propaganda video released in April, the media said.
