A street party of hundreds in New York turned violent early Sunday morning after 13 people were reportedly shot, stabbed and hit by cars.

Syracuse Police Chief Joe Cecil told the media that the situation could have been worse, as all 13 victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Cecil added that no more casualties were attributed to the quick response of police officers patrolling the area at the time of the shooting.
