You can't blame Arthur Blank for this…the other Arthur had to go.
Arthur Smith was fired as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons after three seasons. Never appeared in the postseason There is no winning record to show for it. In other words, this guy was a huge failure from the beginning, and ended up being a huge success.
On Sunday, hours after the Dirty Birds lost 48-17 to the New Orleans Saints, ending a 7-10 season, Falcons owner Arthur Blank and CEO Rich McKay spoke with Smith. Set. Smith had a 21-30 record in his three years with the franchise.

I love the city of Atlanta, I'm a fan of the Atlanta Falcons brand, and I have a lot of respect for Arthur Blank. But why on earth can't this franchise just put together a winner?
