A French takeover is on the way!

Lisacher has been named an international prospect for the second year in a row. 4th place overall He was the top pick in the draft. He is a superstar for the San Antonio Spurs. Victor WembanyamaWenby, also of French descent, was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft.
The 19-year-old Lizacher will play for JL Bourse of France's LNB Elite League in the 2023-24 season, averaging 11.1 points and 4.0 rebounds. He has played in both the French league and the EuroCup. Lizacher is also the son of Stephane Lizacher, a longtime French professional basketball player who helped France win a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games.

Riskacher and Wembanyama are not the only French players represented in the team, as the Washington Wizards also selected a French player with the second overall pick. Alexandre Sarr.
