Auburn Tigers Land Payton Falzone for 2026 Class
The Auburn Tigers have made a significant stride in their 2026 recruiting efforts. After a challenging few weeks, head coach Hugh Freeze has seen a turnaround this week.
On Thursday, the Tigers successfully flipped four-star quarterback Payton Falzone from Pennsylvania.
Breaking: 4-star QB Payton Falzone has turned his commitment from Pennsylvania to Auburn, he tells me @on3recruits.
Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 205 pounds, this quarterback from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, had been committed to the Nittany Lions since April.
“Faith, family, soccer… WarEagle 🦅”
Falzone is a noteworthy addition, sitting just outside the top 10 quarterbacks nationally and ranking among the top five players in Pennsylvania. Over the last two seasons, he amassed over 4,600 passing yards and ran for over 1,000 yards, totaling 61 touchdowns, though he did throw eight interceptions.
His commitment is a much-needed boost for Hugh Freeze and could catalyze momentum for the recruiting class. Perhaps Auburn has discovered its future quarterback.
