Striped Palace, Airplane Hangar, you name it. Coleman Coliseum has its problems, and fans are certainly looking forward to the new arena, but it also has a unique look and charm that can't be said for anything else.
With a capacity of just under 15,000 and having hosted nearly 800 men's basketball games, Coleman Coliseum has certainly seen quite a bit of history.
The Crimson Tide boasts a record of 639 wins, 156 losses, and a winning percentage of .814 in the same building. And perhaps more importantly this week, the Auburn Tigers have traditionally struggled in the building, winning just 10 total games there since opening in 2019. 1968.
Even Auburn's legendary head coach Sonny Smith, who took the Tigers to greater heights than ever before in the NCAA Tournament until Bruce Pearl led them to the Final Four, won 11 games at Coleman Coliseum. It happened only once.
Thank goodness Coleman is still here. Dylan Cardwell certainly does.
