The 2024 Atlanta Braves will likely be the unluckiest team of all time.

Austin RileyAtlanta's standout third baseman will miss six to eight weeks with a fractured right hand, the Braves announced Monday. Riley was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the first inning of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
With the schedule as it is, Riley will likely miss the remainder of the 2024 regular season. September 29On top of that, he will likely miss the Sept. 24-26 series against the Mets, which could be huge given the circumstances.
