The Prescott Valley Police Department is sponsoring an annual badge and bobber fishing event on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Fain Park, 2200 N. 5th Avenue in Prescott Valley. increase. This event is free to attend for all attendees.

Join a local agency and get hooked on fishing!of Prescott Valley Police Departmentalong with other local agencies, hosts Badges & Bobbers, a free event where kids and families go fishing with local law enforcement officers, firefighters and more. Badges & Bobbers’ goal is to get kids hooked on fishing, not drugs and crime, and give the community and police a chance to interact in a positive, neutral environment.
Parking is located on East 1st Street and a school bus will transport participants to the park.
Meet and fish with firefighters from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Police Department, and Chino Valley Police Department. Additional participating agencies include Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Arizona Department of Public Safety Police Officers.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a fishing rod or fishing license, or if you’ve never fished before. Fishing rods and bait are available for rent. Arizona Game and Fish waives the fishing license requirement for the morning event and releases it into the lake for this fishing adventure. The Early Bird Lions Club helps you clean up every fish you catch. Penny’s Place Food Truck and TNT Treats will sell food to attendees onsite.
