The Prescott Valley Police Department is sponsoring an annual Badge and Bobber Fishing event Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at Fain Park, 2200 N. Fifth Avenue in Prescott Valley . This event is free for all attendees. Parking is located on East 1st Street and a school bus will transport participants to the park.
Meet and fish with firefighters from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Department, Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Police Department, and Chino Valley Police Department. Additional participating agencies include Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Arizona Department of Public Safety Police Officers.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a fishing rod or fishing license, or if you’ve never fished before. Fishing rods and bait are available for rent. Arizona Game and Fish has waived the fishing license requirement for their morning event and is releasing it into the lake for this fishing adventure. increase.
