Barry Moore visits Yuma, Arizona to learn about the southern border crisis first hand

US Congressman Barry Moore participated in house judiciary of the committee First field hearing of the 118th Congress dealing with border situations. The hearing was held in Yuma, Arizona, where Moore and his Republican colleagues were able to observe the situation at the border firsthand. The hearing was attended by three of his witnesses: Jonathan Lines, the county superintendent of Yuma County.Sheriff Leon Wilmotand Dr. Robert TrenchellPresident and CEO of Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Moore’s question focused on the humanitarian crisis caused by the transnational flood of humanity in the southern United States.

107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses. Most of that is due to drugs smuggled across the southern US border with Mexico.

“Alabama recently said Birmingham seized enough fentanyl to kill every man, woman and child across the state, so this may be affecting border communities. But it’s a crisis for our entire country,” Moore said. Fentanyl crossing borders in bulk.

Moore spoke of the high costs some traffickers charged people around the world to cross the border in the southern United States.

“We actually arrested some Chinese. [said]$80,000 each at the Texas Sheriff’s Office,” Moore said. “Ladies and gentlemen, they are not here to do anything for us.

Moore spoke about immigrants being given benefits, including cell phones, paid for by American taxpayers.

“We are actually trafficking children with taxpayer money. We are paying them in American taxpayer dollars to get them here. God knows what to put,” Moore said.

“At least it would show that he really puts America first. They deny and ignore their own country’s problems,” Moore said. “These are things that this administration can lead, turning a blind eye to the dangers facing the American people and our country.”

Moore said Americans would be upset if they found out what was going on at the border.

“A closed border is a compassionate border,” said Moore. “We cannot work on immigration reform in this country until we close this southern border and figure out what is going on here.”

Moore is a member of the House Judiciary Committee.Judiciary Commission Chair Jim Jordan It has ordered the commission to hold a hearing on the border crisis to draw attention to the issue. Moore said Democrats were invited to attend the local hearings. However, he chose not to.

Barry Moore is serving his first term representing Alabama’s second congressional district. Moore served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2010 until he was in 2018.
