Barstool Begins New Partnership With Rumble

Rumble on Monday announced a new partnership with Barstool Sports that will give users access to all of Barstool's content.

The new partnership will allow users to watch live streams from Barstool Sports in exchange for Barstool promote Make Rumble your “favorite video home” to drive advertisers to your video streaming service. Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy expressed optimism about the new partnership in a statement released by Rumble.

“We're excited about Rumble's commitment to the sport and growing our audience,” Portnoy said. “We look forward to harnessing the power of Barstool Sports to help Rumble become the top player in video, cloud, and live streaming.”

“Our partnership with Barstool Sports is a major step in pursuing our mission to continue building a portfolio of widely popular sports and entertainment content,” said Chris Pavlovsky, CEO and Chairman of Rumble. Ta. “Rumble is rapidly emerging as a leading platform for the under-30 demographic, and we're excited to have Barstool Sports be a key part of our company's rapid growth.”

Content moderation during the 2020 presidential election made Rumble a popular competitor to YouTube. The platform has exclusive deals with former President Donald Trump's Truth Social, Donald Trump Jr., conservative commentator Dan Bongino, former Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and independent journalist Glenn Greenwald. are tied.

Portnoy bought Barstool Sports back in August after selling the stake to Penn Entertainment several months earlier in a $388 million deal. Since then, he has vowed to maintain this popular blog site until his death. He was the subject of widespread criticism during the COVID-19 pandemic, slamming lockdowns and New York City's indoor dining ban.
