A video appeared to show a man brandishing a baseball bat attacking an innocent bystander in New York City, police said.
The victim was filmed walking in the University Heights neighborhood of the Bronx, New York City, on July 6. The alleged attacker fled, leaving the man with wounds and bruises from the violence.
“The victim suffered lacerations and bruises to the head. EMS was attended to and the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical but stable condition,” it said. norwood news.

The New York Police Department released a video showing the assailant holding a baseball bat before the incident. The video then cuts to him wringing out a wet towel.
The alleged attacker has not yet been found, according to the New York Post.
