Basis Flagstaff extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a great performance from Daniel Quiroz. The Basis Flagstaff Yetis won 61-48 against the Music Mountain Warriors on Friday, with Quiroz contributing 26 points on 12-for-19 at-bats and eight rebounds. His 26 points set a new career high.
The team was also helped by Lincoln Bradford, who had 16 points and eight rebounds. This game marked the fifth consecutive game in which he scored 10 or more points.
Despite the loss, Music Mountain saw a step up from the underclassmen. Sophomore Micah Cuazzula finished with 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting, along with five rebounds and four steals. Cuasula has been attracting attention as he has stolen at least two bases in each of his last six games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lonewolf Habathorn, who scored 12 points.

Those wins came thanks to an offensive performance throughout that stretch, averaging 67.8 points per game.
