More than 43,000 Bay Area customers were still without power on Thursday morning, two days after terrifying winds wreaked havoc on power lines across the region. That’s a significant improvement from Thursday morning, when more than 158,000 customers were without power.
Still, many customers, especially in the South Bay, may have to wait another day or more for power to be restored. Power should be restored to much of the East Bay, San Francisco and North Bay on Thursday.
How long do I have to wait for power to be restored?
The interactive map below shows when riots near you are expected to be fixed. Search for an address to see power outages near you. If there is an outage with an estimate of when power will be restored, that estimate is displayed in the lower pane of the map. Locations without repair estimates are excluded from the map.
Many of the areas with multi-day wait times are in Santa Clara County, including Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and Mountain View. Many customers in San Mateo County may have to wait an additional day or more for power to be restored.
Santa Clara County had the most blackouts of any Bay Area county, with more than 22,000 customers without power as of Thursday morning. has lost power. About 3,000 customers were without power in Contra Costa County, and only 27 customers were without power in Marin.
