sedona news – The City of Sedona Office of Sustainability will host a free workshop, “Ready Sedona: A Resident’s Guide to Emergency Preparedness,” on November 6, 2024 at the Sedona Public Library, 3250 White Bear Rd. The same session will be offered twice. One from noon to 1 p.m. and the other from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This workshop will help residents prepare for emergencies, including getting to know their area, registering for alert systems, learning about precautions to protect their homes, emergency response kits and plans, and even planning for their animals. Discuss important information that will help you.
No notification of attendance is required. We will provide light snacks. The event is in partnership with the Sedona Police Department, Sedona Fire District, Yavapai County and Coconino County, and will feature presentations from each organization.
