This six-month program introduces new volunteers to the history and culture of Arizona’s Central Highlands. This area straddles northern Arizona, encompasses Yavapai County, and serves as the mission area for the Charlotte Hall Museum.

Volunteers will discover the ancient history and culture of the Prescott area, trace the journeys of early ranchers and miners, observe the birth and development of the young settlements of Prescott and Fort Whipple, and see how the local culture is today. We’ll see how it develops.

Volunteer Coordinator Dani Schultz said: “Sometimes volunteers who have been with us for a while want to develop their volunteer skills or simply brush up on their local history. It’s wonderful to see.”

Registration is required to participate in this program starting Thursday, February 9th.For more information see Dani Schulze (928) 277-2006 or dani.schulze@sharlothallmuseum.org.
