Great progress is being made in Qi!
less than year Shane Waldron was fired as the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator on Tuesday after being hired for the gig. (Related: Cowboys’ Dak Prescott officially undergoes season-ending surgery…Where does Dallas go from here?)
Chicago made the announcement a day after head coach Matt Eberflus promised that “adjustments” and “changes” were on the way for the team. Game coordinator Thomas Brown will take over the offensive coordinator job from Waldron.
After evaluating our entire operation, we have determined that it is in the best interest of our team to move in a different direction with our offensive leadership,” Eberflus said in an official statement released by the Bears. “This decision was well-considered and made with care and respect. We thank Shane for his efforts and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

But ESPN’s Mike Greenberg’s rant was spot on, and the Bears should never have been in this situation in the first place.

The Bears are dysfunctional, there’s no other way to describe it. And the longer this goes on, the closer they get to New York Jets territory…oh no.
