Because, Of Course: The NFL Will Continue To Divide America At The Super Bowl With The Black National Anthem

Seriously, the NFL? I thought this was the end…

I'm 33 years old and I can still say that one of the days I'm most excited about is Super Bowl Sunday. Not only is this the best time of the year for sports fans, it's also a national holiday for all of us beautiful Americans. It's supposed to be time for the country to come together, but hmm…the NFL has a different idea.

Yes, “Lift Every Voice” will be sung before the big game and the toxicity will remain.

The NFL announced Thursday that singer Andra Day will perform the song. it is, 3rd consecutive Super Bowl The black national anthem will be sung along with “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

In other words, the NFL will further divide an already divided America for the third year in a row.

Why on earth would I do this again? NFL, haven't we learned anything?

And this is not against the Black National Anthem either. If people want to sing it, sing it. After all, this is America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. But why do we have to do this at the Super Bowl of all events when literally everyone knows very well that this will cause major drama?

Oh, the NFL annoys me sometimes… Think again, Roger Goodell.
