The Alabama Black Belt Adventure Association (ABBAA) would like to remind the state's athletes that: Big Money Photo Contest The event is running until February 16th.

ABBAA Director Pam Swanner said, “We appreciate the hunters who have already submitted their photos, but please remind everyone that photos will be accepted until the end of deer season and online voting will be open until February 16th. I would like you to remember this,” he said. “We encourage hunters to continue providing photos.”

Photos submitted must be from a sale during the 2023-2024 archery and firearms season.

The contest is sponsored by the Central Alabama Agricultural Cooperative in Selma.

ALBBAA reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted photo. Reasons for photo disqualification include, but are not limited to:

• The photographic content depicts the subject in an unethical or disrespectful composition.
• The content of the photo is perceived to cast a negative perception on hunters and their contribution to wildlife management.
• Voting violations that give unfair advantage to others.

Big Buck Photo Contest Entry The event will run until February 16, 2024, and you can also take photos. All bucks harvested during the 2023-2024 whitetail deer season in the 23-county Black Belt region.

Voters on the contest web page may vote once per day.

The winning contestant will receive two game cameras valued at approximately $350, courtesy of the Central Alabama Agricultural Cooperative.
