Beyoncé was so desperate for attention that she transformed herself into one of America’s most famous white women with embarrassing videos that strayed far from her lane.
The famous singer attempted to transform into Pamela Anderson, posing in her most iconic outfit in a music video made to encourage Americans to get out and vote. It unfolded like a terrible identity crisis. In true Beyoncé style, the talentless wannabe tried to piggyback on Anderson’s “Baywatch” fame by calling his music video “Baywatch.” This was one of the most narcissistic fiascos of all time, and did nothing but highlight a fallen singer’s desperate attempt to grab the spotlight.
The new visual for the “Cowboy Carter” anthem “Bodyguard” featured Beyonce wearing the iconic red swimsuit that shot Anderson to fame. At one point, Beyoncé stands in front of a blue screen and jogs in place, trying to imitate Anderson running on sand in one of the most disturbing clips I’ve ever seen. Apparently she doesn’t have a creative bone in her body, so she tried to embody the success of other women.
She spent much of the video wearing a plunging black dress, knee-high boots, and arm-length gloves, which most fans will recognize as Anderson’s infamous outfit from Bar Wire. You probably recognize that. Beyoncé made a glamorous appearance as she fired a prop gun that made the word “Vote” appear on the flag. I’m putting this out there because it has to be said… She knows she’s black, right? The makeup on her face clearly brightens her skin tone, and if she used the reverse makeup skill, she would have a blackface look. So is this whiteface? It certainly seems like that…

In this video, Beyoncé’s cruel downward spiral seemed to have no end. She copied Anderson’s look at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards with a giant pink hat, white corset top, and flashy leggings, giving it an even more raunchy vibe.
She continued caressing his chest and pouted her lips. Towards the end of the video, she blows out cigarette smoke in a highly unimpressive attempt to convey sex appeal.

Anderson owned those moments, and it was part of what made her an absolute bomb at the time. These looks are part of Anderson’s legacy and cannot be replicated, especially by Beyoncé. The best part of this video is the fact that it finally ended.
