The trophy is returning to Birmingham for the third consecutive season.
The Birmingham Stallions claimed their first ever United Football League (UFL) title on Sunday with a 25-0 victory over the San Antonio Brammers at America's Center Dome in St. Louis.

After the Stallions won consecutive USFL championships, the league merged with the XFL to create the UFL, with the USFL conference champion facing off against the XFL conference champion in the championship game.
Ironically, the Brammers were the only team to beat Birmingham this season, winning 18-9 on May 25th.
Birmingham had the league's best offense going into the final, but was held scoreless for much of the first half, including three punts and a fumble early in the game. The first points came on an Adrian Martinez pass to Gary Jennings with 40 seconds left in the first half, followed by a converted two-point conversion to make the score 8-0.
Before the game, San Antonio was boasting about having the best defense in the league, but it was Birmingham's defense that won the game, dominating the Bramms through four quarters.
Birmingham scored again early in the second half to take a 16-0 lead, a lead they held onto for the rest of the game.
It’s fair to say Birmingham has a dynasty when it comes to spring football.
