BLM and USFS to host a community meeting for proposed National Monument near Grand Canyon

WASHINGTON — Next week, the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service will host a public meeting in Flagstaff, Arizona, to hear community views on the management of local public lands, including proposals to designate existing public lands as national monuments. The community gathering is part of the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to support locally-led conservation efforts across the country.
