Bo Nix homecoming: Former Auburn QB accepts Senior Bowl invite

Yesterday afternoon, the Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile gave its quarterback class a big boost, with former Auburn and Oregon quarterback Bo Nix extending his invitation to return to Alabama and play in the game. I accepted.

Nix, who transferred to Oregon State before the 2022 season, has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the nation since coming to Eugene.

His final performance in the Fiesta Bowl against Liberty last Monday was outstanding, completing 28 of 35 attempts for 363 yards and five touchdowns as the Ducks entered the bowl with a 45-6 victory. I won.

He also completed an impressive 77.44 percent of his passes this season, breaking the NCAA record held by Alabama's Mac Jones and surpassing Jones' previous mark of 77.36 percent.

Nix was a three-year starter at Auburn, but it didn't quite work out on the Plains. He opted to leave after the 2021 season and played 10 games before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.

In an era where draft prospects opting out of bowl games depends on them, the Knicks persevered and chose to play with their teammates in their final game at Oregon before announcing their participation in the Senior Bowl, but this is a testament to his character.

Look for the Knicks to return to their home state in February and make a big splash.
