The traditional media tends to get pretty upset whenever former President Donald Trump denounces them at a rally (as he always does), and the resulting chorus of boos does nothing to lessen their barely concealed contempt for the 45th president.
But the criticism of these outlets is entirely valid, and even more so now in the final days of a presidential election when traditional news organizations are falling short of even the bare minimum standards of dispassionate journalism. Many on the left try to downplay the aforementioned truths. After all, who wants to admit they support one side and stand on the other? But right-leaning, contemptuous America is now aware of the media's smokescreen tactics. So much so that in the Trump era, the mask of neutrality has morphed into a joke.
A brief review of recent journalism history tells us a lot: the supposedly impartial media was happy to report on Hillary Clinton's statements about the methods and tactics she used. Destroy Her communications device, and apparently invalid John Fetterman apparently invalid President Joe Biden, all malicious (And incriminating) material Hunter Biden's laptopThe “Trump is a Russian agent” hoax, Stalin-style Show trial He blamed Manhattan for the coronavirus outbreak and the lack of science-based guidance during the later stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They even tried to hide their alleged “shock” at Biden's confused and disoriented state in the aftermath of the first presidential debate between the former and current presidents in June.
But all of this cover was just prelude to the current attempt to reintroduce Vice President Kamala Harris as a “moderate” — the same California liberal they were trying to remove from the list of candidates this time last month, the same Kamala Harris who made a name for herself for her rhetoric, her open borders and her bail fund, the same Kamala Harris who constantly replaced her staff throughout her term as vice president.
That such reporting has had some short-term success is not surprising: Momentum is easily generated when the media chooses sides, isn't pursued with hard questions (or any questions at all), and Hollywood celebrities, woke billionaires, and cashless bail advocates jump on the progressivist bandwagon.
Of course, there is a big problem with this cover-up: video. And middle-class Americans will soon see, hear and understand the flood of video depicting VP Harris's enthusiasm. Single-Payer Healthcareban on hydraulic fracturing, Supreme Court “Reform” Open borders“Reconsider“Lack of enforcement, ambiguity and moral clarity regarding Israel; Green New Deal Grant, Nixon Price Controls And especially the Biden-Harris administration's relentless desire to enforce biological women Compete Biological male (and shower together) (RELATED: 'Our values haven't changed': Kamala Harris backs fracking after administration harshly criticizes fossil fuels)
The cover campaign then goes into revisionist Warp 5 and puts all the pressure on people not to believe their lying eyes and lying brains. In other words, Biden-Harris is “free” from everything they destroyed over the last four years and is free to run from reality.
Video is powerful, and Trump's video-packed commercials will be a lot of fun this fall (several are airing now), so I think they'll end up being pretty effective.
