All of this has many on the right scratching their heads and wondering what can be done to improve a system that continues to particularly fail poor students who have been forced to attend dysfunctional schools for generations (and the taxpayers who fund those schools), but which remains primarily a matter of local funding and control.
Sadly, the answer is not only obvious, but actionable under a Republican administration committed to fixing what is clearly broken.
In other words:
1- President Donald Trump could reinstate Title IX due process protections, as he did during his first term (What was removed The new tribunal, which will apply to campus sex abuse cases, was newly sworn in by President Joe Biden to ensure fair and balanced treatment of both defendants and accusers in a courtroom that can often be emotionally charged.
2- Reverse Biden's attempt to expand the definition of protected status. Including gender identity Federal civil rights law. This repeal marks a return to common sense, ensuring that only biological females can compete against other biological females in college athletics, renewing the promise of Title IX and the future of true women's sports.
3- Use ministry (and congressional oversight) to expose the spread of virulent anti-Semitism On campus Many American universities and colleges.
4- Use ministry (and congressional oversight) to expose the expansion of academic concepts that restrict speech. Speech codes, etc. – Establish language guides – and safe spaces on (most) American university campuses – and identify responsible parties. 7-Support the state government in any iteration of school choice options that the Legislature wants to use to educate the K-12 population.
8- Strengthen and reform what is broken Federal Student Loan Programs It offers private sector options and a federal guarantee, and offers transparent reporting on expected earnings levels depending on your field of study.
9- Protect the religious freedom (under Title IX) of religiously controlled or affiliated institutions from federal interference that is contrary to religious practices or specific tenets of faith.
That means a renewed focus on due process, freedom of speech, school choice, female athletes, and parent and community control — sustainable and achievable policies for a Midwest yearning for a return to common sense.
