Body Found After Vehicle Goes Over Grand Canyon’s Edge

On September 7th, at roughly 12:40 PM, the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a report about a vehicle that had gone over the edge near the South Kaibab Trailhead in Arizona.

Park Rangers acted swiftly, retrieving the bodies approximately 300 feet below the canyon rim. A helicopter transported the body to the rim before it was subsequently taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Stephen (Drew) Bradley from Federal Heights, Colorado.

The National Park Service is collaborating with medical inspectors from Coconino County to look into the incident. As of now, no further details have been released.
