Boeing 747 Pilots Claim They Were Intercepted By UFOs That Didn’t Show Up On Radar

A now-viral video shared by the pilot of a Boeing 747 flying from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria in early August allegedly showed three strange lights near the aircraft.

The footage is Share Captain Ruud van Pangemanan says the glowing orb appeared about 30 minutes into the flight (though the video posted to YouTube shows it at 20 minutes), and his co-pilot is clearly visible, transfixed by the phenomenon as it appears and disappears in the sky.

Whatever the object was, Pangemanan said it didn't show up on radar. Similarly, his team thought the light might be a drone, which would show up on radar.

Pangemanan rejected the idea that the lights were moons or stars, but he thinks the latter is closer to the truth. Ghost Light Better than a regular UFO. Unlike a UFO, a spook light is a giant ball of light that is said to hover above the ground. Science describes it as “ball lightning.” Do you think Pangemanan videotaped ball lightning in the atmosphere? No. But we don't know if he filmed a UFO either. My intuition is that, unlike recent UFO sightings, this particular video is probably related to the recent meteor shower. Admittedly, the movement of these lights is a bit odd, but they do look like large pieces of rock exploding in the atmosphere.

I could be wrong, and this could be some kind of military aircraft, or some kind of space phenomenon, but this feels like it probably isn't legitimate, or at least, I hope it isn't.

If we want to fully believe that these were UFOs that followed Pangemanan to Nigeria, their behavior is a bit puzzling: unlike most UFOs that fly around the sky in all directions, these UFOs seemed to be hovering and moving slowly, almost as if they were watching.

And I don't really like the idea of interplanetary aliens taking the time to observe the daily life of us humans. (Related article: Two big UFO mysteries may have been “solved” after decades)

Thankfully, I think this has literally been a string of really big shooting stars.
