Jamie-Lynn Spears recalled turning down roles in the past, thinking they would fail, only to see the role turned into a series and a blockbuster.
Spears has spoken about the ups and downs of her career, especially one role she happened to let go. Britney Spears’ sister revealed that she gave a reading of “Twilight,” but she mistakenly declined, saying no one would be interested in vampires. She said, “I remember reading this and thinking, ‘Who’s going to keep an eye on these vampires?'” variety.

Reflecting on missed opportunities, Mr. Spears said, “This was before vampires really existed.”
She went on to explain that the public now has a different perspective on vampire content.
“Nowadays, we all love to see stories about vampires, but I was literally like, ‘Vampires? Are you kidding?'” she said.
“Twilight” was another big hit, but Spears wasn’t in it.
Her decision not to appear in Twilight was announced during a recent interview with Variety about her new reprise role in Zoe 102, the sequel to Nickelodeon’s hit tween comedy Zoe 101. She seemed ready to return.
Spears took a career break shortly after Zoe 101 ended, announcing to fans that she was pregnant at 16. She Spears soon left Hollywood and moved to Mississippi to raise her baby Maddie. She later moved to Nashville and found success as a songwriter.

According to Variety, she returned to acting with the Netflix show Sweet Magnolias and returned not only as an actress but also as an executive producer for Zoey 102.
“Zoe 102” will premiere at Paramount+ on July 27th.
