Alabama Governor’s Campaign Announcement
Governor Will Boyd’s campaign revealed on Monday that they have partnered with Vision Blue Strategies and its subsidiary, VBS, to serve as national consultants. VBS was established by Jaime Harrison, who previously chaired the Democratic National Committee, and is recognized for its robust experience in political strategy, grassroots organization, and public service, according to the campaign’s statement.
“Chairman Harrison and the Vision Blue Team add considerable strength and clarity to our campaign,” Boyd stated. “Their deep knowledge of leadership and how to engage with everyday Americans makes them the ideal partners at this pivotal moment. Together, we can spread our message of opportunity and dignity throughout Alabama and achieve victory.”
This collaboration comes as the Boyd campaign is gaining traction. “From Mobile to Huntsville, our supporters are becoming more active in every region, helping us create a momentum fueled by hardworking Alabamians who aspire for a future that benefits everyone,” the campaign indicated.
Vision Blue Strategies works with a diverse array of Democratic candidates, including seasoned civil servants and newcomers alike. Additionally, the firm assists local and state Democratic entities, advocacy groups, and civic organizations through strategic training and outreach initiatives.
“Democrats can only succeed if they remain competitive across the board,” stated Jaime Harrison, founding partner at VBS. “This means no compromises. Boyd gets that. He knows how to win and is prepared to put in the work. Most importantly, he’ll stay committed to his duties once in office.”
During his tenure as chair of the DNC from 2021 to 2025, Harrison guided the party through significant midterm challenges, showcasing the strongest performance from an incumbent presidential party since the 1930s. His leadership has been lauded for restructuring the Democratic infrastructure and focusing on national issues that affect working families, faith communities, and rural areas.
“This goes beyond a typical campaign; it represents a crucial shift,” Boyd added. “We are cultivating a grassroots movement like Alabama hasn’t seen in a generation.”
