Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have settled their bitter divorce, eight years after Jolie filed to end their marriage.
Ms Jolie’s lawyer James Simon said: statement Go to page 6 on December 30th.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and her children left all property they shared with Mr. Pitt, and since then, she has focused on finding peace and healing for her family. ” he said. “This is just part of a long process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted but relieved that this part is over.”

Pitt and Jolie were the celebrity “it” couple when they met while filming the 2005 film “Mr. Martin.” And Mrs. Smith. ” Pitt was married to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston at the time. Pitt accompanied Jolie to Ethiopia that same year to adopt daughter Zahara, and the following year legally adopted her and Jolie’s first adopted child, Maddox. A few months later, their biological daughter, Shiloh, was born.
The couple, who nicknamed her Brangelina due to her high profile, adopted an adopted child named Pax in 2007. Just one year later, Jolie and Pitt welcomed twins Knox and Vivienne. The couple got engaged in 2012 and married two years later at Chateau Miraval, their multimillion-dollar winery in France.

By 2016, the couple’s marital problems became public. The actress filed for divorce.
Jolie’s claims that Pitt had assaulted her on a private plane became public in 2022. Pitt denied all wrongdoing and authorities cleared the actor. The estranged couple fought each other for years over custody, money, and ownership of property.

According to Page Six, a judge awarded Pitt joint custody in 2021, but the ruling was overturned two months later after it was determined the judge had a conflict of interest in the case. (Related: Judge sentences Brad Pitt’s former shadow warrior Luke Ford to 16 years in prison)
The pair have continued to be plagued by a series of legal disputes over the years, and Pitt’s relationship with his children has become strained.
According to court documents filed by Jolie’s lawyers and obtained by the outlet, Jolie has “permanently” waived “any right” to receive spousal support from the actor. Further details regarding the divorce settlement have not been made public at this time.
