Brady Fire Update: Firefighters Hold Blaze at 363 Acres Near Mayer, Arizona – Evacuations Remain in Place | Prescott Valley Times local news

With the help of cool evening temperatures and air support along with firefighters, Brady’s fire stopped growing yesterday. Air support assisted firefighters on the ground by dropping delaying agents that slowed active fire behavior. After more accurate mapping, the Bradefire holds 363 acres. The crew will continue to build the line along the edge of the fire and ensure it if it is achievable. Evaluations of required risk and protection efforts will resume in the Pine Flat community. Increases in predicted afternoon winds from southwest crews will focus on the northern part of the fire, which maintains active fires within the exit footprint.

The Bradefire, which began on February 10, 2025, is estimated at 363 acres and is burning near the Pine Flat community west of Mayer, Arizona. As dry fuel continues to be consumed, smoke can be seen from surrounding communities.
