A soccer match in Brazil was thrown into chaos on Wednesday after police allegedly fired rubber bullets at players, TMZ reported.
The incident occurred after a regional football match between Brazilian side Gremio Esportivo Anapolis and Centro Oeste, which Centro Oeste won 2-1. according to According to TMZ, Brazilian newspaper Globo reported that an argument broke out between the players and police quickly got involved.

a video Footage from the scene shows an officer pushing aside one of the players and firing a rubber bullet at close range into the thigh of Gremio Annapolis goalkeeper Ramon Sousa, TMZ reported. Sousa was injured by the impact and can be seen limping away in pain as the officer involved appears to taunt him. “This is a horrific, unbelievable and criminal act by someone who should care about the safety and integrity of those who were at Jonas Duarte Stadium,” the team wrote, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, the club also provided an update on Souza's condition, reassuring fans and the public that while the incident was serious, there was no threat to the goalkeeper's life or limb. Meanwhile, local police have acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and are investigating the incident.
