Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama hosts 16th annual casino night fundraiser



The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) is pleased to announce the 16th Annual Pink Palace Casino Night, a night of fun and fundraising to support local breast cancer research.

This event will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Soiree Event Gallery in Hoover. The fun begins at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy a night of live music from II DA MAXX, Las Vegas-style casino games such as blackjack, slots, and roulette, plus a silent auction featuring a wide range of items donated by local businesses. Silent auction items include vacation packages, luxury goods, unique experiences, and more.

Tickets ($100) include free beer and wine, food provided by Kathy G. and Company, $500 in charity game money, and a chance to win door prizes. Silent auctions allow in-person and at-home attendees to bid. He joins BCRFA as event sponsors Tameron Honda & Hyundai, Renasant Bank and UAB's O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center.

BCRFA President and CEO Beth Davis said the night is a fun time for everyone, regardless of their level of gaming experience. “Newcomers and Las Vegas veterans alike are committed to breast cancer research. Our friendly professional dealers will explain all the rules and guide those who want to try their luck.”

Last year, Pink Palace Casino Night raised more than $115,000. All proceeds go to his BCRFA commitment to help find cures for breast cancer research by funding innovative research at UAB's O'Neill Comprehensive Cancer Center in Birmingham, CerFlux, Southern Research and more. Since 1996, the organization has invested more than $15 million in Alabama-based breast cancer research, fostering breakthroughs to improve breast cancer detection, treatment, and prevention.
