Who knew you could “steal” sand?

Attanasio's neighbor, James Kohlberg, filed suit, alleging that the Milwaukee property owner is using an excavator on public natural resources to restrict public access to the beach and put marine life at risk from the by-products of the heavy machinery. Additionally, Kohlberg claims Attanasio is creating a public and private nuisance and violating the California Coastal Code.
“This case involved a private property owner using a public beach as his own personal sandbox, disturbingly converting a public natural resource (i.e., the sand at Broadbeach) for the personal, private use of nearby homeowners,” the lawsuit states.

Honestly, I had no idea you could “steal” sand, but it is a reality, and considering it's 2024, I wouldn't be surprised if there are even crazier things happening.
What's interesting is…who does this guy think he is, ingesting that much sand? Howard Schnellenberger?
I'll never forget the “Schnellenberger resigns, destroys sand castles” story… if only he had stayed 💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍💍 #CanesFamUnited pic.twitter.com/yMKsotCD1k
