… There is no way this guy will stay in the NBA.
It’s been a productive week for the San Antonio Spurs Victor Wenbanyama. As such, a scandal has already swirled around the rookie prodigy.
As we all know, Wenbanyama was selected as the #1 overall pick last Thursday. 2023 NBA Draft By the Spurs, then he had dinner with Multiple Legends of San Antonio — Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili.

After the NBA Draft and a dinner with Spurs legends, it was time for “Wembley” (we never call it that) to don the San Antonio jersey for the franchise’s first shootaround.
But while it all sounds great, Victor’s third installment of the night went awry – a terrible mistake – after a video of him filming brick to brick… brick went viral online. And to make this situation even more serious, the footage was inexplicably deleted.
I’m crying, the video of Wenby shooting bricks has been taken down, ah ah ah

NBA fans have since launched an investigation into the matter and vowed to obtain the footage and repost it on Twitter.

A cover-up is currently underway, but rest assured that I will work tirelessly to find the now-deleted video footage of Wenby completely missing every shot.

Unsurprisingly, the video was salvaged and republished, as the internet was undefeated. Mission successful.

Obviously, I love this as a Miami Heat fan.
But let me put on my sports journalist’s hat and give you my honest opinion (ignoring the fans on my sleeve for a second): There’s no way this guy will survive in the NBA. We were already concerned about Wenbanyama being too skinny and lanky, but now we’re starting to see that he can’t hit the life-saving jump shot (which is needed in the NBA today). Sure, he can dunk, but what if Nikola Jokic stops him in the paint? (Related: What a legend! John Daley rides golf cart drive-in style to watch Kenny Chesney concert)
There’s no way this guy will make it in the NBA. no way.
