Briefs: Woman arrest on aggravated operating under the influence allegations | Kingman Daily Miner

Lake Havasu City – Mojave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Felicia Lynn Sloan, 29, of Glendale for negligent manipulation of felonies and misdemeanors under the influence of a vessel.

On Sunday, April 23, at approximately 6:00 pm, agents were patrolling Lake Havasu when they observed a blue and white pontoon boat heading north. According to an MCSO press release, agents observed a young female subject seated at the front of the boat outside the safety railing while the boat was in motion.

Agents stopped the boat and contacted the operator, identified as Sloane, to give them the reason for the stop. Deputies said Sloane was responding slowly and showing signs of disability during the contact. After testing was completed, agents transported Sloan to the Water Safety Center to have a breath test completed.

A breath test revealed a blood/alcohol content of .154%, according to law enforcement. Felicia Lynn Sloan was arrested without incident and Kingman’s girlfriend was transferred to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

Lake Havasu City – Mojave County Sheriff’s Department agents have arrested Tony Joseph Aguirre, 35, and Mary Kate Murphy, 34, of Lake Havasu City on suspicion of drug possession and an arrest warrant.

At 6:00 p.m. on April 20, representatives responded to a residence at 3500 Grell Street in Lake Havasu City and attempted to contact Murphy about an active arrest warrant, according to an MCSO news release. Upon arrival, the agent observed the door to the residence open and was able to hear Murphy and another subject inside.

When agents entered the mansion, they are said to have observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Deputies observed male subjects, identified as Murphy and Aguirre, exiting the bedroom area of ​​the residence. A deputy observed Aguirre holding a black pouch, but placed it on the bed before following the deputy’s instructions.

During the search, agents found 52 blue pills (suspected to be fentanyl), a 1-gram methamphetamine, a syringe containing an unknown liquid, and multiple items of drug-related paraphernalia, according to law enforcement. When asked, Aguirre is said to have advised that all items found within the residence belonged to him. He allegedly admitted that the blue pill was fentanyl and the substance in the syringe was methamphetamine.

Both subjects were transferred without incident to the Mojave County Adult Containment Facility in Kingman. Aguirre was charged with dangerous drug possession, drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies, and a valid arrest warrant. Murphy was arrested on three valid arrest warrants.
