As the tension escalates between Israel and Iran, leaders in Alabama are backing President Donald Trump’s firm approach to the situation.
Last Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed Operation Ryingilion. Following that announcement, Iran has conducted significant missile and drone attacks across several cities, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Batyam.
Trump is currently pursuing “unconditional surrender” from Iran, emphasizing that nuclear weapons should not be in the hands of countries in the Middle East.

US Rep. Robert Adderholt (R-Haleyville) echoed the president’s sentiments and commended him for his assertive stance.
“Iran must not possess nuclear weapons,” he stated. “They have openly declared their intent to cause harm to Israel and America. Why should we doubt their words?”
Iran cannot allow it to have nuclear weapons. They have repeatedly said they want to bring death to Israel and America. There’s no reason not to believe them. pic.twitter.com/kr4do7lclc

US Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) stated that should Iran acquire nuclear weapons, it would constitute an “existential threat” to both the US and Israel.
“Iran is fundamentally the largest state sponsor of terrorism,” Britt noted. “If they gain nuclear weapons, it puts the U.S. and the entire world in a precarious situation.”
Iran is the world’s largest national sponsor, and ownership of nuclear weapons will pose an existential threat to the United States and the world.
