Brown named EVIT Education Foundation executive director

Denny Brown has been elected as the new Executive Director of the East Valley Institute of Technology Educational Foundation.

According to the release, Mr. Brown has a background in leadership and community service, including tenure on the Scottsdale Unified School District Board of Trustees, the Scottsdale Welfare Board, and the EVIT Education Foundation Board.

EVIT is a public school that provides tuition-free career and technical training for high school students in 11 districts and tuition-based training for adults at two Mesa central campuses and a branch of Apache Junction High School. .
