Buckmasters Expo in Montgomery marks a record year of family enjoyment, rodeo excitement, and community support

30th Annual Buckmasters Expo

The 30th Annual Buckmasters Expo, presented by Mountain Dew, drew over 25,000 attendees to downtown Montgomery from August 15-17, 2025. Organizers are calling this the best year yet.

This year saw the return of the Young Bucks Ballroom, where kids and families could engage in free activities like balloon art, crafts, face painting, and even interact with falcons and other birds of prey. Mechanical bull rides were a new addition this year, and mascots Bucky and Droptin attracted crowds for photo ops and meet-and-greets.

Jackie Bushman, the founder of Buckmasters, collaborated on this weekend event with Allie from Macy Watkins, representing Alabama and Georgia. The Buckmasters on the Road team also included notable fans like Tim Van Dren, known as the “Bama Grill Master,” along with Glorian, Ryan Boyd, Garrett Heikes, Marina Childress, Alison Vosge, and Aubrey Schreiber.

The Bulls & Buckmasters rodeo stood out as a high-energy highlight, attracting professional bull riders from across the country. Sponsors for the rodeo included well-known names like Jim Beam, the US Army, and Safari Club International, among others.

Admission was covered by either a can of food or a $1 donation, benefiting both the Friendship Mission and the Salvation Army. This initiative raised $11,000 in cash and approximately £9,770 in food donations, enough to provide around 130,000 meals to families in Alabama—an increase from the previous year’s total.

Hundreds of exhibitors showcased the latest in hunting gear, outdoor products, and food. Many vendors reported record sales, with some products selling out before the expo wrapped up on Sunday.

“The 30th Fair was truly our best, and we are thankful to everyone who made it happen,” stated Jackie Bushman. “From our sponsors like Mountain Dew to key partners such as the US Army and Alabama Power, not to mention the incredible vendors, riders, families, and fans, the event once again highlighted what sets the Buckmasters community apart.”

The expo was supported by various sponsors, including the US Army, Alabama Power, and Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Montgomery. Local officials, including the Montgomery City Council and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, also contributed to the event’s success.

Looking ahead, the 31st Buckmasters Expo is scheduled for August 14-16, 2026, in Montgomery. Those interested in exhibiting can inquire at 334-387-2635.
