Bullhead Police Department released new details and explanations last Friday about the double murder that claimed the lives of a local couple. Agency spokeswoman Emily Frommert said the victims in the stabbing were a married couple. Tommy Hinton, 62, and his wife Annette, 59.
Fromel said the suspect, Aaron Bryant, 31, of Eureka, Calif., worked at the Hintons’ previous pizza shop in California. She said the Hintons moved to Bullhead City more than three years ago, and Bryant has been living with them in their home on Block 3700 of Rawhide Drive for the past few months.
Corporal Dave Finney said officers were dispatched to the home around 5:49 p.m. after receiving a 911 call for help from a woman. He said another 911 call had been made of a man stabbing a woman at the same address.
Fromert said investigators believed the escalation in the altercation led to the murder, but said the exact nature of the altercation was unknown. A neighbor shot the suspect in the leg, she said, but Bryant continues to recover in a Las Vegas hospital.
Mr. Frommert said Mr. Bryant would eventually be turned over to Mojave County for prosecution.
