The 27th annual Buses by the Bridge event began Thursday, and by Wednesday afternoon, dozens of Volkswagen bus owners were lined up for the gates to open the next morning.
This miniature town was filled with people parking their buses, children playing and exploring the area, and spectators walking to check out the buses.
Many of the out-of-state travelers arrived early, with several large groups coming from places like Florida, Texas and Colorado. Several bus owners from Europe are also expected to participate.
The event officially begins at 9am on Thursday. General admission for non-campers is $5 per person over the age of 18 and is valid for four days.
