C.J. Pearson is hosting a memorial rally called ‘We Are All Charlie Kirk’ in Tuscaloosa this evening, and he mentions that the movement is expanding.

Legacy of Charlie Kirk Lives On After Tragic Death

Conservative activist CJ Pearson believes that although the assassination of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy, many will continue to uphold the ideals he promoted.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated last week while speaking at an outdoor event on the Utah Valley University campus.

Pearson, who co-chairs the GOP Youth Advisory and is a student at the University of Alabama, reflected on Kirk’s impact during an appearance on WVNN’s “Dale Jackson Show.”

“I knew Charlie since I was 12, when I started creating content. He was one of the first individuals in the national conservative scene to reach out to me after my first video went viral,” Pearson recalled.

“He messaged me on Twitter, saying, ‘Hey, CJ, I love what you’re doing. Keep fighting.’ That meant a lot to me, especially coming from someone like him, considering I grew up in a Democratic household.”

Pearson also shared insights regarding the atmosphere at the University of Alabama in the wake of Kirk’s death.

“I spoke with the president of Turning Point USA in Alabama recently. He mentioned that following Charlie’s murder, membership in their group surged from 200 to 700 in just a few days,” he said.

Pearson expressed concern over certain comments made by faculty members on campus. “For instance, one professor, AJ Bauer, from the journalism department, stated that right-wing violence is becoming increasingly unchecked. He suggested, right after the arrest of Charlie Kirk’s assassin, that there might be a conspiracy connecting Kirk’s death to a Maga Republican with no place on campus.”

Despite these challenges, Pearson remains hopeful. He noted that Kirk’s legacy might be strengthened in light of this tragedy.

“I was devastated, not just because I lost a friend, but because our nation lost a true patriot,” he said. “However, it’s uplifting to witness the ongoing support for his movement. Vigils are being held across the country, packed with people, many of whom are newcomers to this cause.”

Pearson is organizing a memorial rally for Kirk in Tuscaloosa, set for 5 to 7 PM at Two Dimes Bama, located near the University of Alabama campus.
