Say it’s not true, Caitlin…say it’s not true…
Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark had an absolutely incredible run this past season that ultimately led to her time magazine“Athlete of the Year”. And it’s a good thing she’s good at basketball. That’s because she’s so ignorant about political and cultural issues that she’s here to push the leftist argument that white people have “privileges.”
For Time, there was no one else to choose from, Clark was literally the only choice. Her performance in 2024 is undeniable. Even so, why on earth does she feel the need to bow down to her awakening? That’s exactly what she did in a Time article released Tuesday, and hey…give me a break. Time even wrote that Clark “recognizes the racial underpinnings of her stardom.”
“I’d like to say I’ve had everything, but as a white person I have privilege,” Clark told Time magazine. “A lot of the really good players in the league have been black players. This league is kind of built on them. I wish we valued that more and emphasized that more and talked about it and made this league more… I think it’s really important if brands and companies can continue to invest in the players that have made it great, and we have to continue to try to change that and elevate Black women even more. , that would be great.”
NEW: Caitlin Clark says she has white privilege and the WNBA is built on black players in her Time Athlete of the Year article.
As quoted by TIME, Clark says she has achieved success, but also says she has privilege because she is white.
