The WNBA Rookie of the Year debate is officially over!
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever took on the Dallas Wings on Wednesday in a record-breaking performance for the former Iowa Hawkeyes superstar, as she broke the WNBA record for assists in a single game. Clarke has already had a stellar rookie season, breaking the league assist record with 19 assists. twenty four The Fever's top scorer was 6 points and 6 rebounds. Aaliyah Bostonearned 28 points.
Playing in front of a sellout crowd in Arlington, Clark was truly magnificent, delivering one highlight after another, the highlight of which was a quick behind-the-back assist that was a thing of beauty.

Clark proved herself…again…a force in the scoring, passing and rebounding departments, and in my eyes, she earned the WNBA Rookie of the Year award.
The previous record for assists was held by WNBA champion and five-time All-Star Courtney VanderSloot with 18.
