Caitlyn Jenner Threatens Legal Action Against Son Over Unauthorized Promotion

Caitlyn Jenner's lawyers have reportedly threatened legal action after her son Brandon Jenner used Jenner's name and likeness to promote a new TV series.

Sources say viewers were promised Caitlyn would be appearing on Brandon's new TV series, “At Home with the Jenners,” on Unchanged TV. The show is currently in its third episode of season 1, and Caitlyn's appearance is said to have been teased without her knowledge., according to TMZ. According to TMZ, Caitlyn is reportedly in talks with FOX to renew her status as a Fox News contributor and doesn't want her appearance on a reality show on another network to get in the way of negotiations. .

People close to the situation said Caitlyn's appearance on her son's show would be a violation of her contract with Fox.

According to TMZ, Caitlyn is adamant that she did not consent or give permission to appear on At Home with the Jenners, and that she did not give Brandon any blessings to promote his show. She was surprised to learn that she had been using Caitlin's name instead.

Jenner's attorney reportedly contacted the production company associated with Brandon's show and threatened legal action if all references to Caitlyn were not immediately removed from the show. Sources say all references to Caitlyn have been removed from future appearances.

It remains unclear why Brandon took Caitlyn up in the first place, but TMZ reports that the situation appears to have been resolved without any formal legal action.
